5115 License
5115 License
I was sent the software license keys. They did not include 1REACH1 5115. How do I get this software key?
Re: 5115 License
To install LongReach server, no license is required for feature 5115. Only feature 5114 requires a license code and that was what was emailed to you.
Re: 5115 License
If the feature 5115 license is not required, why is there a message sent to QSYSOPR that the number of users has exceeded the limit, and that there are only 26 grace days left on the temp license? Message ID: CPF9E72
Re: 5115 License
The 5115 licenced product information was accidently shipped for LongReach 1.0.
The LongReach server is doing a licence check on features 5114 & 5115 during startup.
5115 will be removed on the next LongReach release.
You could also manually remove this feature using the following commands.
GO LICPGM
12. Delete Licence Program
Option 4, against 1REACH1 Product Option/Feature 15

Re: 5115 License
We're getting an expired license error for "feature 5115". I don't see LICPGM 1REACH1 Opt 15 installed, but I tried deleting anyway: DLTLICPGM LICPGM(1REACH1) OPTION(15) but got "Product 1REACH1 option 15 release *ONLY not installed." as expected.
So, how do I prevent this error:

Re: 5115 License
The cause of the problem has been located.
The licencing process now does an additional check to see if the feature is installed before performing a licence request.
This correction will be shipped in the next release.
